In America, we have more national “this or that” days, weeks, and months than we know what to do with. And, at risk of offending, some of them are at least a little silly, Home Safety including these:
- January 7, Old Rock Day
- February 4, Create a Vacuum Day
- March 11, Oatmeal Nut Waffle Day
- April 21, Poem in Your Pocket Day
- May 21, Talk Like Yoda Day
- June 19, Sauntering Day
And yet, for all the dozens like the above, there are some occasions worth observing, National Safety Month being one of them. It’s a June observance, for the record, but a topic that should be near and dear to your heart all year long.
Here are some simple but effective to help keep your home a safe, secure environment for everyone concerned.
